The Korea Walking Federation (hereafter, the Federation), cares every walker's personal information and complies with the Act on promotion of information and communications network utilization and information protection.

This privacy policy comes into force on June 1, 2006.

Personally identifiable information items you voluntarily supply when you register: Name, alien registration number, log-in ID, password, password cue question and answer, telephone number, cellular phone number, email address, current mailing address, access log, and access IP address.

Method that we gather your personally identifiable information: membership subscription to the Federation website for membership and walking events

Verification of membership and users and confirmation of registration for walking events

The above mentioned personally identifiable information are kept according to the privacy policy of the Federation until his/her personal information is deleted completely, automatically and immediately as soon as each member withdraws from the Federation and his/her account is terminated at any time.

The Federation shall destroy quickly personal information as soon as the purpose for which personal information was collected and used is no longer served by retention of the personal information, and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

Personal information, which is saved in the form of electronic files, shall be completely destroyed using technical methods that disable their reproduction.
